I’m Gill and I am a self-taught creator of sustainable silver jewellery.

I want my little business to be as sustainable and eco-friendly as possible, so I have a plan and I am on my way!

I know you want to do the right thing when it comes to the environment and that you really do care about our planet and the future survival of everyone and everything that depends on it. So I want to make it easy for you to do this when you make a purchase from SilverHare Jewellery. Therefore I am fully committed to making SilverHare Jewellery a truly sustainable brand.

I like simple, timeless, but unique jewellery so that is what I design and make. I want you to feel that you can wear it everyday and not save it for special occasions. Knowing that the jewellery that I have created with my hands is being worn by someone out there, is the most amazing feeling ever! A lot of love and care goes into every piece, knowing that you, or someone you love, will be wearing it. Most of my jewellery is made from recycled fine silver (99.9% silver), or recycled sterling silver (92.5% silver). The silver is recycled from waste from industries that use precious metals in their processes, such as the dental, hospital, photographic and jewellery industries.

If you like something on the website but it is out of stock, or you would like something in a different size/shape/design combination please email me as most jewellery is available to order. I will also help you to create something unique that you have in mind if I feel this is within my scope.
